Description

This is a really old shot - just found it whilst digging through files on my computer. I think it was taken with a mobile phone and I am still amazed to this day - at the sparkle captured in the sea. Full view - it's worth it :) Nature is beautiful!

Update: It was taken with a fujifilm thingybob :D Thanks =ScENeYmE for pointing it out :D

A lovely shot.

I'm initially drawn in by the (as you say) sparkling water - but find much more to be enjoyed about the photograph on further inspection.

I love the 'character' the wooden posts give the over all shot - really helps to add a central focus in the contrast with the three shades of blue. Seeing that the horizon, mountain, and shorelines are all horizontal, the vertical post really break it up.

Capturing a bit of the sand gave it a nice finished off border - and also contributed to giving it another color (although subtle in its neutralness).

The photographs color scheme is quite muted and calm, making it, for the most part a great piece for relaxing. The bright specks of sunlight give it just enough energy without becoming distracting to the viewer.

All in all a well done piece.
