It looks like an Azure Damselfly,their colours are just so vibrant.

I know what 200 shots for one good one is like :)..and so worth it.

Yes, Damselflys rest with their wings back over their bodies whilst dragonflys rest with them open in the flight configuration.... hope that makes sense. I love them both, we seem to have a lot here in Salisbury this year. Congratulations on an awesome capture and well worth the effort :)

Wow interesting fact! Definitely makes sense. I've seen a lot of these around this year, and in particular huge dragonflys - really massive huge ones! The sort that if they fly into your head, they hurt!

:D Never had that happen to me! I was watching one the other day tackling midges... was ammazing to watch; this must be the most accomplished flying creature ever! If only I had my camera :(
