3wyl ~ Times are changing

General Photography has been a huge passion of mine for years and when the beloved kinipelahh left my side for greener pastures, I wasn't sure if anyone else could ever fill that position again. We worked in sync, we were pretty awesome. And then along came 3wyl. Well, she was there way before that and we worked together on many things before we became partners in crime on the Community Relations Team, but she stepped up and we put our own touch on the General Photography Community. We ran contests, we created groups, we closed groups (when they no longer had the same purpose), we gave Daily Deviations, we argued about Daily Deviations (with each other, never in public!) and we debated and discussed the gallery structure within General Photography.

We asked you questions, you gave us answers, we created things based upon what the community wanted. We pulled CRPhotography up from the ground. From two shiny enthusiastic founders to a huge team of pretty fantastic people and a member base of more than 4,000 deviants (who are also pretty and fantastic!) That's why today is a sad day, but also a good day because I'm reminded of how much we've achieved and the endless conversations about how we should do this or do that. 3wyl keeps me organised.

You have to know now, now that she's stepping down, that the biggest secret is I wouldn't have done as much or been as active or as organised as I am today without her help (and she will probably take that as an insult, as many know, I am the most forgetful disorganised person ever!) but imagine how much worse it could be without 3wyl...

Luckily, you won't have to. Because once again another has stepped up (some weeks ago) and is going to work alongside me! Mrs-Durden has her own ways of being awesome and again is scarily and hugely organised so there is hope for me yet... Things change and will never be quite the same with each change, but at the same time, we have some great ideas for the future, for photography and for the site in general. So stay tuned for what we will bring you next and in the meantime, 3wyl, _{who doesn't much like fuss} , needs some farewell luff.
