Christmas wishes

It's that time of year again - Christmas Eve is fast approaching many of you and is already here (just about!) in the UK. I just wanted to take a moment to wish each and everyone of you reading this a very Merry Christmas (or season if you don't celebrate the Christmas part!) I've had a few days off of work to get prepared and I've so loved the time that I've had to just enjoy the house, the dog and spending some hours here and there with family. I've been reading a lot of your Christmas wishes journals and the underlying theme, the underlying thing that we all crave a little bit more of is time. This Christmas I'll be spending Christmas day with parents, partner, sibling, siblings partner, aunts, uncles and grandparents. It's a reminder that we shouldn't just take this one occasion each year to dedicate time, we should make time at other points - almost like it's a natural thing to do. We don't do it enough. This Christmas spare a moment to appreciate those you have near to you, and make plans for next year before you go your separate ways again.

I have received so many cards this year, and have had a place to put them in my own home for the first time! The staircase is completely full of cards all the way down it, and I'm touched by so many who have remembered to send one (hopefully mine all arrive on time too!) I'm thankful for friends, both online and offline and family. I'm also hugely thankful to the talent of STelari. Thank you STelari for my absolutely amazing CV secret santa.... Such effort and time went in to choose something personal that meant something to me...
