We're looking for game players to come and join in our deviantART Birthday Event! In just a short while 3wyl and myself are hosting an interpretation of a British game show called Pointless. The idea of the game is that you have to guess the least popular answer to a multiple answers question. You will be awarded points accordingly, those with the most points will win - but you will have used pointless answers to get there!
We'll have pre-judged the least popular and most popular answers by asking a panel of CVs beforehand for their responses. Want an example?
Name a Film Starring Tom Cruise
Okay so Mission Impossible is a really high answer and if you said that one, you'd get lots of points. Which isn't good! If you said Rain Man - you'd possibly be getting less points. But if you said something like Endless Love or Taps, then you'd be hitting on an answer that not many people know. Therefore you'd get little to no points - and have more chance of winning. Make sense?
The aim of the game is to get creative, and also that the first answer you google for - won't
necessarily get you the winning point. And we know you use google. Oh Yes. So hopefully this will cut down that unfair advantage.
