Fudge! Probably one of the most simplest things ever - Milk, Butter and Sugar - mixed to a soft 'fudge' like consistency and often flavoured with other weird and wonderful things. Fudge is popular in the UK especially, as a tourist treat. Those little tourist shops that proclaim home made ice cream also often sell home made fudge! It's also popular at fayres too. Here's an interesting trivia note...
"The Hot Fudge Sundae was supposedly created in 1906 at C.C. Browns, a new ice cream parlor on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles."

I didn't realize hot fudge was a concept over 100 years old!!!
I adore fudge, and due to my allergies I had to create a recipe I could eat, so I make goat's milk fudge that just melts in the mouth (won a first place in its division at The Canfield Fair). I make a quicker, smaller version of the chocolate version that I use for icing. Yummy!
