I've put together an article due for release next week about how you can create your own Photography studio without going to too much expense or trouble. I'm all for making the most out of tricky or limited situations to try and make something professional...butt hen I stumbled across
this article and thought it was a completely genius idea - and just goes to show that your studio can literally be anywhere. A Photographer in Yeovil (UK) has set up studio in what was formerly the public toilets! As well as a great move for a photographer it puts an abandoned building, formerly considered an 'eye sore' to great use. The mental images (until you actually realise it's been renovated) are disturbing though...!
I've already shot one wedding so far this year, so the wedding season is definitely creeping up. This
article from Phoblographer goes over the Photography essentials for shooting a Wedding and is actually quite useful for those who are considering venturing out into the previously unknown! I remember attending a wedding once when I was about 14/15 years old and playing the piano for the bride walking down the 'aisle' (staircase in a stately home!) I watched the Photographer for most of the day, fascinated by what she was doing and how seamless it all was. I never dreamt I'd be the person doing that at somebody else's wedding one day, so it is amazing what you can achieve just with a few simple things.
