Do you know any good resources or tutorials of how to set up your own mini studio? Like what you should keep in mind, what kind of lights would work best etc. Want to built my own mini studio, but i am not sure what really makes sense and what not. Of course i have looked up things already, but as a noob i have no idea what is really useful and what was just mentioned without being really needed or important.

That's something I'm working on, as I recently managed to put together a mini studio of my own and wanted to write an article on that  It depends what you need the studio for, mine is for predominantly photographing babies so the lighting had to be subtle and the lamps needed to be ones that didn't give off too much brightness or warmth. The flooring, I use laminate flooring - just a few strips that i bought really cheaply from a DIY shop, I can transport it easily with me and lay down as much or as little as I want :D The backdrops are the important bit in terms of you need something that doesn't crease too easily, and something that doesn't show up the shadows (although if you get good lighting this will help iron that out). I'll put together and article shortly though with what I've learned so far :)
I would only need it to get some product/stock photos from smaller things, plants etc. So nothing that really has to be big. Just plain editorial.

Looking forward to that article :la:
