So many of my watchers and other members of the community  suggest fantastic pieces for Daily Deviations every week. But I need more. I need to be more specific about my rules now too, so that you understand what I do and do not look for. But above all that, it's time to get You more exposure. Think you have an awesome photograph in your gallery? Why not consider self suggesting right now. I actively encourage it. If you send me your own work I will greet you with pompoms and latex free balloons. Srsly. Read on for more info:

The Community Relations Team is your first stop when sending a Daily Deviation. The full team is listed there and it's pretty self explanatory of whom you should select to send your note to. If the deviation you are suggesting is in, for example, Animals, Plants and Nature - then there isone designated Community Volunteer that you can approach with the suggestion. As it states, general photography covers everything - but I will more than likely forward on all suggestions I get that have a specific community volunteer to look over them. :) So right now, what you can you suggest to any of the three general photography CVs?

:bulletblue: I only give Daily Deviations to Photography work. Photo-manipulation, traditional art, graphic art, cartoons, artisan crafts and drawings by your five-year-old do not get a look in. Artistic nudes and Fetish are also a fairly specialist area which you should contact Nyx-Valentine with. She loves them long time.
Check out communityrelations for the rest of the team.

:bulletblue: I accept self suggestions. There's really no point in trying to sneak around and create another account to suggest your work, or try and get multiple people to send me your work. It won't work, I can see through that! If you think your work deserves a Daily Deviation, then you should be brave enough to be open about that. There's no harm in it. Artists across the world are entering their work into magazines, competitions, newspapers and so on, why should you keep quiet about your skills? All I ask is that you add a few lines about your work and why you think it deserves a Daily Deviation.

:bulletblue: If I decline a suggestion, I will try and let you know with a generic response. However if you want more feedback Ask and I will provide it. I'm not a horrible person - I do understand that it's frustrating sending in suggestion after suggestion and not getting any real reason as to why it is declined. If you take the time to ask why, I will take the time to answer you. This is the same for self suggestions. Some people find it difficult to reply to Self Suggested pieces of work, I don't. If I decline your work, and you want to know why, I will justify it.

:bulletblue: All suggestions that are accepted are generally featured within a month of me reading the note. For specially themed deviations and so on this could differ but in general if you know I've accepted a suggestion you can expect to see it on the Daily Deviations page within a month.

:bulletblue: You may send multiple suggestions per note. However chucking in fifty deviations and expecting me to take you seriously won't work. I suggest that if you are going to suggest multiple times within a week that you stick to three or four deviations at the most. It would be nice if you include reasons why as well.

:bulletblue: Within your note please send me a thumb link. That's the link at the side of the deviation that looks like this :thumb1121212121: Copy and past it, et voila, a thumbnail will appear when you send it to me. This makes life so much more easier and there's really no excuse in not sending it. You can send a link too, for peace of mind, if you wish.

:bulletblue: Please don't complain if you see a piece of work featured that you suggested - but somebody is listed as the suggester. I work hard to ensure all notes are looked at and all suggesters are listed, but I am not in the habit of going back and adding new suggesters unless the amount really starts to stand out. Occasionally if I have time I will pop a second suggester in but it should be enough, for you, that the artist has been selected. The amount of complaints I get about this are actually astounding.

:bulletblue: If you see a Daily Deviation featured by me without a suggester listed the chances are it's more likely to be a personal find that I have sought out or a rather brave self suggestion!

:bulletblue: I feature one Daily Deviation per day. And I get around 50 - 70 suggestions per week. You do the math! I simply cannot accept everything. I do try and let you know :)

:bulletblue: The usual rule applies - if the artist has been featured within the past six months they cannot be featured until those six months are up. Also I tend not to award Daily Deviations to artists who have already received 3,000 around ten. True Fact.

:bulletblue: :new: These days, I get so many suggestions that I try hard NOT to feature the same artist twice.

Maybe it's a stupid question, but I like to write a few words about a deviation I suggest. If I make a grammar mistake (or any mistake at all) in a description of a deviation you decide to feature as a DD will you correct it (that mistake)? ^^;
I always try to make sure that what I write is as correct as possible, but English can be very tricky, especially that it isn't my first language. :3
