Don't want to yet, but am being forced to by my mum, despite the fact we can't afford it, and It's highly unlikely I will need/get a car in the next 7 years. I can't stand driving, it does my head in

Please define terrible.

To me terrible is only having 2 buses for one city that only pass around 3 times a day. That's terrible. I lived like that for years. Now I'm in a place where we have them every 10 minutes, and plenty of them. It's a bliss. And now they're talking about building a metro. If it is done right I think I'll never need to drive!

Terrible, the UK has plenty of buses, but they run too infrequently and never seem to be on time. That and the fact the actual cleanliness of them is so bad.
